Therapy

Kate R. Casey, M.C., Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Washington. Working with individuals, couples, adolescents, families, and groups.

“My attitude of hope goes a long way toward helping people change.  I am convinced that all people can grow.  It is a matter of connecting them with their own inner resources.  That is the therapeutic task.” – Virginia Satir

I work with individuals, couples, groups, and families who are dealing with challenges concerning grief and loss as well as life transitions such as birth, death, divorce, marriage, and blended families.  I have a passionate interest in integrating yoga and therapy as a model for treatment of emotional, psychological, and spiritual issues.  I provide guidance, insight, structure, as well as support for those who are confronting their family-of-origin issues.  I have 35+ years of professional experience dealing with addiction, depression, anxiety, and compulsive behaviors. I am trained in the techniques of EMDR and TFT for the treatment of trauma.
