I work with individuals, couples, groups and families who are dealing with challenges concerning grief and loss as well as life transitions such as birth, death, divorce, marriage and blending and blended families. I have a passionate interest in integrating yoga and therapy as a model for treatment of emotional, psychological and spiritual issues. I provide guidance, structure and support for those who are confronting their family-of-origin beliefs. I have 25 years of professional experience dealing with addictions and compulsive behaviors and I am trained in the techniques of EMDR and TFT in the treatment of shock and trauma.

  • I came across a paper I wrote while I was in college back in the 80’s. The title is Meditation and Therapy Awareness from Within. I wanted to share some of it here.
  • Check out my link with  Alive and Shine Center.
  • I do animal-assisted therapy as a team with my dog, Honey. Honey, is a soft-coated wheaten terrier. For more information on the human-animal connection go to Pet Partners.
  • I also volunteer at Evergreen Hospice in Kirkland teaching yoga to volunteers and staff.

“My attitude of hope goes a long way toward helping people change. I am convinced that all people can grow. It is a matter of connecting them with their own inner resources. That is the therapeutic task.” – Virginia Satir
